What Happens After Go-Live With an AI Voice Agent: Dezy It's 90-Day Plan

Going live is the start, not the finish. This is what happens after your AI voice agent goes live with Dezy It, week by week and month by month.

Before go-live: four weeks of setup

Setup takes four weeks. We design the conversation around your services, connect your systems and test the calls, review the flow with your team, and then go live.

Weeks 1 and 2 after go-live: stabilize

The agent goes live. We watch calls closely in the first weeks, review how the agent handles real patients, and correct what does not work. Your front desk team gets a clear process for taking over a call when the agent escalates.

Weeks 3 and 4 after go-live: the first review

We compare call outcomes against the numbers agreed during the sprint. We review calls that were escalated, calls that ended without a booking, and calls the agent answered wrongly. Changes are made to scripts and flows, and you see what changed.

Month 2: the first monthly sprint

Each month a short sprint checks that the agreed numbers are still the right ones, and updates the agent. Typical changes come from what patients are actually asking: a new service, a seasonal offer, a question that keeps coming up after hours.

Month 3: review against your numbers

By the end of the first quarter, we review results against the baseline we set together. If a number has not moved, we change the approach. If the clinic is ready to add a location or a service, we plan that next.

What we need from your team

  • A named person who approves changes to services, prices and offers.

  • Time with your front desk team in the sprint, usually about an hour.

  • Access to the systems the agent uses for bookings, such as your scheduling software or EHR. Most systems are covered: we connect through the system's API where one is available, and where it isn't, we use robotic process automation (RPA) to carry out the same steps on screen. Major systems include Epic, athenahealth, ModMed and eClinicalWorks. Access to each vendor's API depends on its partner program, and we confirm the route for your system during the sprint. See the full list in our EHR integrations guide: https://www.dezyit.com/post/diva-360-ehr-integrations-the-ehrs-dezy-it-works-with. ModMed practices can also see https://www.dezyit.com/modmed-dermatology-ai-voice-agent.

  • A process for handing calls to staff when the agent escalates.

What does not change

The agent does not replace your team. It takes first-line and after-hours calls so your staff can focus on patients who need a person. Clinical questions, including symptoms and treatment advice, are escalated to your clinical team.

How we measure success

  • Calls answered, including after hours.

  • Consults booked from calls.

  • Returning patients who rebook.

  • Calls escalated to staff, and why.

The targets come from your sprint, not from us. Your dashboard sends automated weekly reports, and every call is logged so your team can review it.

For multi-location groups

Each location gets the same review cycle, with its own numbers and its own pricing and availability. The monthly sprint covers the group as a whole and each site.
